Just a couple of purchases...:)

Hello everyone!
I thought I would share with you a couple of my latest purchases...

Maybelline Baby Lips: Intensive Care £2.99 Superdrug

I was told by a friend recently that these lip balms had come in to the UK from America, and well I guess I just couldn't help but try one out...:) Autumn is here now and with the weather getting colder I knew it was time to invest in a new lip balm to stop my lips from getting chapped! I also though this is perfect for school as it is much more hygienic than using my usual Vaseline pot.  This lip balm isn't tinted however I am aware that there are five altogether, two of which have a tint.  I really love this lip balm as it is really sheer on my lips and also keeps my lips moisturised for a lot longer than Vaseline.
 :)

Yankee candle (smaller pot): Fireside treats, marshmallow grilles £8.25

I have always loved the Yankee candle range but have never got one because of how expensive they are.  Although my friend has a few and after smelling them I guess I just couldn't help myself!  So a few days ago after spending ages smelling all of the candles over and over again I decided that this one was my favourite.  I'm not an expert at describing scents and smells but I would describe this candle as subtle but sweet.  At first I didn't think it smelt like marshmallows but when I lit the candle when I got home it just smelt well, exactly like them!
It just remindled me of all the times I had roasted marshmallows in the past! :D

I hope you enjoyed this post!
Please do let me know in the comment section if you have got the same or a different Baby Lips balm or any Yankee candles!  I would love to hear from you all.

Rose gold watch

Hello everyone!

I have been trying to find a new watch for quite sometime now.  Mainly because I thought it would be really useful at school/work.  So the first place and last place I went to find one was Next!

Recently I have been really drawn to the colour rose gold and was hoping to find one in that colour, and luckily I did.  There were about 3 different types in that colour, all varying in different sizes. :)

This is the one that I bought for £25...

I am so pleased with this watch so far.  I have always thought that rose gold would look best on tanned/dark skin tones (not me).  However when I tried it on I thought it would look flattering on all skin tones, it's just such a pretty colour! Another thing that I loved about it was the sparkly crystal gems around the watch. It also has a self adjustable strap which was really handy as it was too big for at first.

Next have some really pretty and affordable watches at the moment so I would really recommend having a look!

Quote of the week...

Hope you enjoyed this post!

Inspired by quotes

Hello everyone!

So with summer drawing to a close and the busyness of preparing for sixth form recently I have been thinking about what i would like to achieve this coming school year-not just academically but also in myself too. So that's when I turned to Pinterest for inspiration and its endless ideas!

So here are some quotes that I've found and will mentally take around with me in my mind throughout sixth form...

This quote is really important to me as it will encourage me to seize opportunities that I come across everyday. Whether it be a big opportunity or a something small.

Sometimes if I've had a bad day I tend to dwell on it for quite sometime.  However now I want to see everyday as a new day full of new opportunities!

I love this quote and the photograph too! I want it to remind to always be myself, however every now and then launching myself out of my comfort zone.  Hopefully then my confidence will build!

This again is also about coming out of my comfort zone every now and then which will then open a new page full of new opportunities.

So I hope you have enjoyed this post and have been inspired by these quotes as much as I have.  They just gave me that little lift I needed!

Something new... I have now decided that once a week at the end of one of my posts i will add a quote that has inspired me or made me smile!

Lush-Avobath & Butterball

Hello everyone!

So today I have a lush review for you!
Butterball-
When I bought this bath bomb I think I always new I would prefer it over Avobath just because it has a really subtle smell.  The smell reminds me of vanilla fudge.  However when I used it I loved it even more because of  how moisturising it is right from the of start.  However one disappointment with this bath bomb was that after, my skin felt slightly clammy and sticky.
However overall I really enjoyed this bath bomb and would like to purchase it again. :)

Avobath-

Now out of the two of them this was probably my least favourite. In the lush booklet it says that it contains 'lemongrass' which is distinctive from the smell, 'bergamot', 'Avocado' and 'olive oil'. At first I really enjoyed the smell and was excited to use it.  However when I did use it I found that it was way to strong smelling for me.  It has a very intense fruity and citrusy smell which meant it wasn't long until I had had enough of it.  The description of it in the Lush booklet states that it will 'nourish the skin', however I wasn't fully convinced.

So overall I wasn't too impressed with this bath bomb.  So I will probably not be purchasing it again. :(

I  hope you enjoyed this review!
Have you tried out these bath bombs on any other Lush products?  If so let me know what you think of them in the comment section below. :)

Herbal Essences Bee Strong shampoo & conditioner

Hello everyone!

About a month ago I was searching the shops for a shampoo and conditioner for my hair that would make it feel smooth, silky and help repair the ends of my hair that I had been using straighteners on quite often.  I also think sometimes combing my hair when it is wet has caused some of the damage too.

I have always loved the Herbal Essences Hair care range and because recently I have been using a different brand I thought it would be a nice to change it up a bit.  The first thing I noticed when I got to the Herbal Essences section when I went shopping about a month ago was the vast amount of shampoo's for different types of hair they had created since I last looked.  They honestly had one shampoo for each hair need.

But because I was looking for a shampoo that could solve my damaged hair I was drawn to the Herbal Essences Bee Strong shampoo and conditioner.  Before I buy anything like shampoo, conditioner, face wash... (and the list goes on)  I always have to make sure it smells good.  Well I can confidently assure you that this shampoo and conditioner smells absolutely AMAZING.  It says on the bottle that both have apricot and honey extracts.  Personally all I can smell is the apricot.  But honestly you will not be disappointed by the smell at all.

The shampoo states that it helps to strengthen hair by protecting the outer layer of each strand to leave it strong against specifically combing damage.  The conditioner states that it is a serum-infused formula for moisturised softness.
In my own opinion, after using this hair product my hair definitely feels a lot more softer and lighter.  Also the ends of my hair feel a lot less brittle than they did before.  So overall I think this product was a great buy and I can see myself indulging in some of the other Herbal Essences hair products in the near future.

I hope you enjoyed this review!
Have you been enjoying the same or a different product from the same range? If so let me know what you think of it in the comment section below.:)
I have also recently purchased a Herbal Essences hair mask which I will look forward to telling you about once I have tried it a few more times.

See you soon!

Benefit - Big Beutiful Eyes contour kit

Hello everyone!

Today I thought I would do a little post about one of my favourite benefit products that I own.

So here we go...
To start of with one of my favourite things about the benefit range is the interesting and creative packaging.  It Is definitely the brand that stands out as soon as I walk into a boots store!  However the only down side is that the brand is quite expensive.

To sum up this product I would say that it is a simple, easy to use eye shadow kit which comes with a handy concealer (boi-ing 02 medium) for under the eyes to cover up any dark circles, 3 shades of eye shadow (alabaster pink shade eye shadow, coco shimmer contour shadow and rich chocolate brown liner shadow) a miniature concealer, contour and liner brush and a little leaflet of instructions.

I absolutely love the eye shadow shades in this kit. The fact that the finished look is neutral means I could wear it every day.  And also the shimmer in the two eye shadows in the centre of the kit create a really pretty look.:)

Please do let me know if you enjoyed this post in the comment section below and also let me know if you would like me to do another Benefit review in the future . I have also linked the benefit website to the bottom of this post. <3

Have you purchased any Benefit products recently that are so amazing?

Thank you for reading! xxx
